• Account details: name, email address, phone number, gender, hostel/location preference
• Ride details: pickup and drop locations, ride times, gender preference for co-travellers
• Device tokens for push notifications (e.g. FCM, APNs)
• Payment-related information when you pay for rides (processed by our payment provider; we may store transaction references and status)

2. How we use your information

We use this information to:

• Match you with co-travellers and manage rides
• Send you notifications about matches, reminders, and app updates
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Improve the app and comply with legal obligations

3. Data sharing

We may share data with:

• Payment providers (e.g. Razorpay) to process payments
• Cloud and infrastructure providers that host our services
• Authorities when required by law

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Retention

We retain your data while your account is active and as needed for legal, safety, or operational reasons. If you delete your account, we anonymize your personal data as described in our delete-account process.
